This month we started planning our spring fundraising event. Last year we hosted a fundraiser for the Taft High School Culinary Program. We were able to raise a few hundred dollars and had a great evening at The Bay House.  We can't thank the staff at the Bay House for hosting our event last year.

This year we are excited to take steps to make this a bigger event. We are in the process of securing the Eagles building in the Nelscott neighborhood of Lincoln City. This will give us a larger space to host guests. We're planning the meal the culinary students will be preparing and working out some preliminary details now. The date has not been set yet, but we are looking at weekends in March. We'll post regular updates to our blog and Facebook page (If you aren't following us on Facebook yet, like our FB page here) and keep updates coming in our January and February newsletters as well.

We're excited for the 2018 fundraiser, and helping expand the experiences of the Taft high students as they learn about career opportunities in the culinary arts.
