Pacific City is known as a fishing town and getaway spot for over a hundred years.  Situated in an exciting and unique topographical and land zone, on the edge of the Three Capes Scenic Drive with the shocking Cape Kiwanda at the forefront, Pacific City is a tranquil beachfront town offering many outdoor activities. Pacific City’s seashore is a most loved spot for surfers and fishers because of a characteristic barrier.

Pacific City has ocean access points for walkers and 4x4 vehicles. The southernmost point is Bob Straub Park and is the best place to investigate the spit made by the Big Nestucca. The middle access point is toward the end of Pacific Avenue (after crossing the bridge) and is mostly utilized predominantly by walkers.
